Pinnacle Foods: Fort Madison

Pinnacle Foods added 16,700 sq. ft. to their existing 358,000 sq. ft. food processing and packaging plant. The equipment for the expansion, and reconfiguration of the existing plant, enabled Pinnacle to add eight new can sizes to their production lines, and increase their capacity by approximately 78 million cans packaged per year. Sixty-five new jobs were created and 430 existing jobs were also retained by the decision to expand in this low income area of the state.
