VT Industries Expansion: Holstein, Iowa

VT Industries is expanding its Holstein operations with a new 175,000 sq. ft. facility supported by $15 million in New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) financing as part of a $16 million investment. The project will add modern production space and equipment while opening capacity in existing facilities for future growth. Construction will generate 120 jobs, with 12 new full-time positions created upon completion. Designed with MidAmerican Energy for energy efficiency, the facility will reduce operating costs while supporting long-term sustainability. The expansion also delivers strong ripple effects across Holstein and Ida County, spurring new housing, hotel expansion, retail spending, and school district growth.
